| Description: | Sam Buckingham has featured on our air-waves for over a decade now – having worked as a radio announcer, professional voice-over artist and TV and website presenter. Her television experience has traversed the whole spectrum from live TV to advertorial presenter and host, hero talent in commercials, real estate presenter, relief weather presenter, web hosting, acting in several mini series and documentaries. Sam is equally at ease with scripted and non scripted roles, as well as auto cue, and can ad-lib her way through any hiccup and time-out to a tee! Sam’s versatility is commendable, being able to transform herself from loving Mum to high powered corporate identity in moments, and she does so with precise professionalism. She has a warmth and genuineness that reaches all demographics. It is no wonder Sam is the chosen face for Bigpond advertorials and the host of Telstra’s new website, Next Dimension. She can also be seen hosting advertorials on the WIN Networks new morning show “Susie”. Her colleagues describe her as a consummate professional, with a dynamic and friendly personality! Easy to work with, Sam will adapt herself to any role with a minimum of fuss, and always delivers results! She has a warmth and sense of humour that puts people at ease, and who can forget that winning smile! Sam’s professional career is suitably complimented by her academic qualifications. As well as having a Bachelor of Arts degree in Leisure and Tourism (UTS), majoring in advertising and media management, she has recently completed studies in Speech and Drama with Trinity College of London. In the past few years she has focused more on the voice, studying with world renowned Rowena Balos. Sam is also a tutor at NIDA in their Open Program for the TV Presenter course.
